Various changes within the Ecuadorian Government have resulted in significant improvements in the economic and social policy within the last few years.
The country has the highest percentage of public investment in GDP (10%) in Latin America and the Caribbean. The internal market has positive rates of growth in sectors such as chemistry, construction, electronics, information and communication technology, environmental technology, medical technology, petroleum, food and mining.
